Name That Poet....#4

It's been awhile, and I apologize. Here is another poem from a classic poet. See if you know the name of both the title and the creator.

"Hope" is the thing with feathers--
That perches in the soul--
And sings the tune without the words--
And never stops--at all--

And sweetest--in the Gale--is heard--
And sore must be the storm--
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm--

I've heard it in the chillest land--
And on the strangest Sea--
Yet, never, in Extremity,
It asked a crumb--of Me.

Okay, good luck to all. :-)

That's an easy one for me. Maybe I shouldn't say her name just yet. Love this. Great for highlighting poets that meant a lot to me.

We've become all shy and retiring. Sarah, let's just stand up and admit we know! I'll say the first name, you say the second. EMILY!!!

UberGrumpy, a blogger, d'you know 'im?
Is trying his hand at a poem
A promising start
But it all falls apart
When he can't get the last line to rhyme, or scan
